<p><br></p><p>Exeter, NH</p><p><br></p><p>Jane E. Sanborn, 76, of 45 Exeter River Landing died at Exeter Hospital on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, with her family by her side.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane was born August 20, 1946, in Marblehead, the daughter of late Jane (Miller) Dixey and Robert Dixey. She was raised in Marblehead, and attended the Marblehead schools. As an adult, she lived in Beverly for many years before moving to Exeter, N.H. in 1977. In Exeter, Jane worked at Exeter Hospital for many years as an RN before finding her love to help the terminally ill as an in-home nurse.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane lived a fulfilling life as a mother, sister, wife and friend. She loved long road trips to Vermont with her family and to collect antiques with her husband. Jane was a very creative individual and always had her hand in crafting and sewing - even starting many businesses building unique teddy bears and Christmas decorations. She was a very generous and kind woman that would always open her home to family and friends. She had a beautiful sense of humor and always was eager to make her family laugh. She was an avid bird watcher and gardner and loved sharing her bird sightings and orchid blooms with her children and sisters. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane is survived by her four children, Kimberly, wife of Chris Barnes of Exeter, N.H., Michelle Sanborn of Stratham, N.H., Brenden Sanborn of Miami, FL and Jeremy Sanborn husband of Thi Sanborn of South Easton MA.; five granddaughters, Alexis, Jordan, Peyton, Lucy and Rose, and two great-grandchildren, Ziah and Coda and several nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>She is also survived by her four siblings, Florence Spinale and her husband of Campbell, CA, Mary Woods of Danvers, MA., Colleen Dixey of Exeter, N.H. and John Dixey of CA.</p><p><br></p><p>Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sanborn, her father Robert and mother, Jane and one sister, Roberta Dixey.</p><p><br></p><p>In keeping with her nature, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name in honor of her late husband, Robert Sanborn to the Alzheimer’s Association.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
