Robert Lafortune, 73, born on November 9, 1948, to Paul & Rita Lafortune in Biddeford, Maine passed away early morning on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Robert was very grounded in his Catholic faith which led him on a life of happiness and joy. While on a pilgrimage through America he met the love of his life, Annette. Together they spread their joy and happiness wherever they could.

Robert was a kind and selfless man how could make anyone smile and enjoyed making others happy. He delighted people by playing the trumpet in the St. Louis band and served his community as a member of the Knights of Columbus. Even in his later years he was always happy to be in the spotlight. Most of the time he would play the main character in plays that were put on by St. Andres Nursing Home. In his down time, Robert enjoyed playing cribbage with his good friend Bob. He also loved playing with Pretzel the dog, who would come and visit the nursing home.

Robert is preceded in death by his Parents, Paul and Rita Lafortune. He is survived by his wife, Annette Lafortune and several cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Monday, October 3 at 11am and will be followed by a Graveside service and St. Joseph Cemetery.
