<p>Paul Beall, 68, of Springfield, died at 4:09 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Paul was born on January 4, 1954, in Springfield, the son of Richard and Dorothy Morse Beall. He married Karen Jean Foster on June 17, 1972, in Springfield.</p><p><br></p><p>Paul attended Pleasant Plains Grade Schools and was a graduate of Southeast High School. He was employed at McFarlands working with special needs children before joining the Carpenters Local 16 (now 270) where he was permanently stationed at St. John’s. He loved golf, fishing, kayaking, antique toy collecting, and was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his son, Zach Beall; infant grandson, Alexander Beall; his parents; and two brothers, Jack and Howard Beall.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife, Karen Beall of Springfield; one daughter, Christina Mohan of Springfield; five grandchildren, Danny Beall of AR, Katie Beall, Kori Mohan, Alyssa (husband, Henry) Boateng, and Anthony Beall, all of Springfield; one great-grandchild, Alany Boateng; brother-in-law, Jimmy Foster of MN; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and brotherhood of carpenters; and two beloved pit bulls, Bubba and Arty.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside Ceremony: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Pleasant Plains Cemetery with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. For those in attendance, the family suggests casual attire of either orange and blue colors or Chicago Bears clothing.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield, IL 62702.</p><p><br></p><p>The family is being served by Boardman Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Ave West., Springfield.</p><p><br></p>
