Cosme C. de la Paz

Cosme C. de la Paz, age 90 of Dearborn Heights; passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 28, 2022. Along with his passion for his kids and grandkids, his other passion was to work on his yard and improve his house, and no project was too big. He was employed at Chrysler for 23 years. He loved following his grandkids in all their sport activities. He had great pride to be an American citizen. Coming from Cuba in 1971 with much respect for his new homeland.

Beloved husband of almost 65 years to Nelida (preceeded). Dear father of Cosme (Patricia) Delapaz, Liliana (Gregory) Rebain, Leisy (John) Young. Proud grandpa of Michael (Kayla) Delapaz, Lauren (Mychael) Evans, Garrett (Caitlin) Rebain, Veronica Culp, Kevin (Ebony) Delapaz, Melissa Culp, Karen (Kevin) Webb, Kayla Rebain. Proud great-grandpa to Gabriel Delapaz, Amelia Evans and Mac Rebain. Caring brother of Erlinda de la Paz, Emma de la Paz and Gallego Companioni. Cosme was preceeded in death by his brother, Idael de la Paz, and his parents, Eligio de la Paz, Arminda Companioni. He had many loving nieces and nephews.
