Bernadine "Peggy" Irene Jensen, 84, of Grant, passed away on September 27, 2017 at home. She was born on July 2, 1933 to Glen and Bertha (Spence) Beeler in Dayton Twp, Newaygo Co., Michigan. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1952. On July 10, 1954 she married Gerald "Jerry" Jensen in Grant. She was an operator for Michigan Bell Telephone for many years. Bernadine is survived by two sons: Keith (Lisa) Jensen of Grant, Scott (Michelle) Jensen of Applegate; three daughters: Sandy Krikke (Dan Yokubonus) of Grant, Sally (Michael) Finney of Grant, Kellie (Brian) Ashcroft of Grant; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Carl Beeler of Fremont; brother-in-law Ron (Anna) Jensen of Grant; two sister-in-laws: Betty Jensen of Casnovia, Charlotte Jensen of Grant; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her parents, brother Bud Beeler, sister Dorothy Rail, sister Nadine Jahr, brother Phillip Beeler, sister Patricia Hoeve, brother-in-law Donald Jensen. Memorial Luncheon will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, 1:00 PM at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4249. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hospice of Michigan.
