Michael Joseph Mashburn, age 25, of Farner, TN, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Michael was born in the Cleveland, TN on September 12, 1997 to Pearly Wayne Mashburn and Catheline Burt Smallin Mashburn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends. Michael loved being outdoors, running a power saw to cut wood and trees. He will always be remembered by his friends and family often saying, "I got this".

Michael is survived by his parents, Pearly and Catheline Mashburn; children, Makenna Paisley Mashburn and Ashton Cody Mashburn; sister, Carla (Joseph) Taylor; aunts and uncles, Delena Mashburn, Amanda Perkins, Stacey Mashburn, Jesse Mashburn, Jeff Mashburn, Tracie Kirkland, Treva Kirkland, Treva Smallin, Jeff Smallin, Jerry Smallin, and Daniel Smallin; nieces and nephews, Jaden Taylor, Chase Taylor, Leland Taylor, Landon Taylor, and Jazzmine Taylor; many cousins; other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel at Akins-Cobb in Copperhill, TN with Rev. Mitchell Allen and Rev. Steve Dills officiating. Interment followed in the Brock Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Zack Womble, Elijah Allen, Chris Crowder, A.J. Massey, Josh Mashburn and Jesse Smallin.
