Robert Ramaglia

May 31, 1937- September 23, 2022

My dear husband, Robert Ramaglia, sadly passed away on September 23, 2022 at the age of 85. He was a wonderful and loving man. He was also unique, strong, tender, and understanding. He was always there when I needed him. He was born in New Rochelle, NY and lived for over 25 years in Port St. Lucie, Fl.

For many years, his passion and purpose in life was to help people overcome the burden of an eating disorder. That is how we met, it was destiny. He had a high success rate and had a positive impact on so many lives, until he retired, and then we moved to Florida.

When he retired, he realized he didn't have a relax gene!. He did silversmithing to put himself through college, so we did art shows for 20 years, traveling the country, and winning many prestigious awards for his creativity and talents. He made original, handmade sterling silver jewelry that was unique and modern. It was a hobby that just got out of control! Then when the shows and traveling weren't fun anymore and too hard to do, he decided to go back into handling eating disorders, because he still wanted to help people.

He had an amazing life, with so many stories and a vivid imagination. He had strength and determination until the very end. He still wanted to do a lot more and help people. He will be missed, but not forgotten, and he'll always have a special place in our hearts!

He is survived by four granddaughters: Rachel, Sarah, Bekah, Michelle, and three grandsons, Chris, Axl and Brandon, 2 sons, Scott and Chris, and one daughter, Christine.

As per his wishes, he will be cremated at Affordable Choice Cremation, Port St. Lucie, Fl . In lieu of flowers, gifts can be sent to his favorite charity, The Salvation Army or Treasure Coast Food Bank. He would have wanted money to be spent on the living, not the dying!
