SARAH ANN (STILTNER) LESTER, 53 years of age of Big Rock, VA, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Grundy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ronnie Harold Stiltner and Barbara Ann (Ratliff) Rogers. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Christian faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed spending time in nature and with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Brother: Ronald Ratliff; Sister: Cindy Renee Stiltner; Brother-in-Law: Tommy Lester Jr.; Mother & Father-in-Law: Tommy and Lillian Lester; Nieces: Brittany Renee Lester and Ashley Dawn Stiltner; Nephew: Cory Stiltner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 38-years, James Christopher Lester of Big Rock, VA; Children: James (Brandis) Lester II of Big Rock, VA, Willie Ray Lester of Big Rock, VA, and Mason Jesse (Fiancée Kacee Boyd) Lester of Big Rock, VA; Grandchildren: Savannah Morgan Lester, Lillian Elizabeth Lester, Alexandria Claire Lester and Averie Jane Lester; Brother: Donald “Duck’ Stiltner.

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Services for SARAH ANN (STILTNER) LESTER will be conducted Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Fred Stacy officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
