Mark Alan Smith Obituary
Mark Alan Smith, 65, of Englewood Florida passed away September 17, 2022 at his residence.
He was born in Parkersburg September 23, 1956 a son of the late William Russell Smith and Genevieve (Mongold) Smith.
Mark graduated from Glenville State College with his Board of Regents degree and he was a Chemical Operator for EI Dupont.
He is survived by one son Matt Smith of Englewood, FL, five siblings, Mike Smith (Kathryn) of Marietta, OH, Julie Hammond of Williamstown, Jeff Smith (Anita) of Parkersburg, Jody Shank (Danny) of Raleigh, NC, and Greg Smith of Parkersburg, and many extended family members including several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by one son Anthony Smith.
Service will be Wednesday 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastor Adam Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
