Ivan Bruce Blackburn, age 63 of Staffordsville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was a superintendent for Quest Energy Coal Company. He was also the owner and operator of the Paintsville Lake Marina and the floaters Restaurant. Bruce was born in Williamson, West Virginia on January 30, 1954 the son of the late Ivan and Clovis Evans Blackburn. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Blackburn. Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Debra Smith Blackburn, sons, Jeremy (Samantha) Blackburn of Pikeville and Tyler Blackburn of Raccoon and daughter, Ivana Jade Blackburn of Staffordsville. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles Blackburn and Keith (Lois) Blackburn both of Pikeville and two sisters, Denise (Danny) Harmon of Pikeville and Brenda (El) Shook of Manassas, Virginia. He is also survived survived by six grandchildren. Interment:The burial services will be private.
