<p>Charles S. Winscott, age 83 of Gallatin, passed away September 21, 2022.&nbsp; He was born in Batesville, Indiana on July 17, 1939 to the late Mervin Bower and Ada Mae Gooden Winscott.&nbsp; He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Winscott; daughters, Deborah Goddard, Ada, OK, Cathy Goddard Smith (Blake), Spartanburg, SC; son, Rich Goddard (Emily), Portland, TN; grandchildren, Justin Smith, Ryan Smith, Tyler Goddard (Haley), Jackson Goddard, James Cooper Goddard, and Elizabeth Keith; brother William Winscott (Carol), and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. </p><p>Charles worked for many years in the Automotive industry, and was employed for several years at NAPA in Mt. Vernon, IL.&nbsp; When he and Mary moved to Tennessee, he co-owned and operated 13 coin operated laundromats in the Metro Area.&nbsp; After his retirement, he and Mary loved to travel, especially to Destin, FL, and Pigeon Forge.&nbsp; </p><p>Visitation will be at Crestview Funeral Home on Monday September 26 from 9am until the funeral service at 10:30 am with interment to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. </p>

Charles S.
