<p>Lawrence Craig Buzan</p><p>January 28, 1940 - September 10, 2022</p><p><br></p><p>Larry “Gramps” Buzan, of Sunriver, OR, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, September 10, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>Raised in Milwaukie, OR, Larry graduated from Milwaukie High School, and Portland State University. He spent the majority of his life living in Tigard, OR and retired in Sunriver, OR.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry loved photography, scuba diving, and traveling with his family and friends to tropical/European destinations. Some of his favorites being Hawaii, Mexico, and his last trip to Italy!</p><p><br></p><p>During his life he had many achievements. He not only built his own house, but also helped his daughter build her own custom home. As a boy, he became a Boy Scout achieving Eagle Scout, joined the DeMolay Society and was promoted to Chevalier. After college, Larry joined the Coast Guard and then married the love of his life, Joyce S. Buzan.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry had the gift of gab, and used his talents working for Safeway while attending college. After graduation, he worked at ESCO Corporation and spent his later years working for Pacific Office Automation.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry and several of his closest friends started the Tigard Kiwanis Club, volunteered as the chain gang for Tigard High football games, and coached little league baseball.</p><p><br></p><p>In retirement, Larry enjoyed golfing, kayaking, biking and was an active member of the Sunriver Citizens Patrol.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry is remembered by his original sense of humor, his love for sweets, and his contagious smile.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce Buzan, their 2 children Tracy Nixon (Rick), and Todd Buzan (Kim), 4 grandchildren (Lindsey, Scott, Cole, Luka), and 2 great grandchildren (Molly and Jackson).</p><p><br></p>

Larry “Gramps” Buzan, of Sunriver, OR, died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, September 10, 2022.
