<p>DURHAM: Peggy Dalehite Jones, 92, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Pettigrew Rehabilitation Center in Durham. She was born in Durham, the daughter of the late Wyatt Dalehite and Ora Jane Dalehite. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jones was also predeceased by her husband, Winfred Samuel Jones; son, Russell Jones; sisters, Florence Hall, Dorothy Casey; and granddaughters, Mai Wong, Jenny Jones.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Sam Jones (Urai), Linda J. Liertz (Robert), Peter Jones (Marie), Jayson Jones (Karen); 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>A private service will be held.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Durham County ASPCA: 2117 E. Club Blvd., Durham, NC 27704; or to an animal rescue charity of your choice.</p><p><br></p><p>The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham.
