Obituary

Kai Anderson, Beloved Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend, went home to be with his Lord on September 20, 2022 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Luann Anderson (Vogel), his daughters Sophia and Alyssa, his sons Isaac and Andrew (AJ), his parents Robert and Barbara, and his siblings Rachael and Kristy (Ken) and many others that loved him.

Kai joined the Milwaukee Police Department in 1996 and retired after 25 years on the force. He was incredibly proud to be a career police officer and cherished his brothers and sisters in blue. He was passionate about continuous learning and personal growth and served as adjunct instructor at a number of technical colleges. He also held an array of certifications, particularly in the health and wellness space.

Faith was an integral part of Kai's life and actively influenced every decision he made. He was committed to Christ, and to being a shining example of servitude, love and grace. He was an extremely proud member of Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Kai's ability to emanate an understanding of the human condition made him uniquely able to influence people and touch lives. He was well known for treating people with respect, compassion and dignity, no matter the situation.

Kai greatly enjoyed the simple things in life - spending time with his wife and children, seeing family and friends, enjoying church and prayer, and inspiring others to be their best selves. His beaming smile and positive energy were truly unforgettable and will be sorely missed.

Matthew 25:23 - Well done good and faithful servant.
