Clarence Mitchell Smith Obituary

Clarence Mitchell Smith, “Mitch” passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born on January 27, 1956 in Noblesville, IN, a son of the late Clarence and Susie Smith.

Clarence was a 1975 graduate of the Livingston Academy and retired from the Operators Engineers Union, Local 103 in 2011 after 32 years. He was a loving father, grandfather and a dear friend to many. Clarence enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing and hunting were a few of his favorites. Clarence was a Tennessee Volunteers Fan.

In addition to his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by his siblings, Dixie, Danny, Rita, Marshall and Steven.

Clarence is survived by his son, Jason (Jennifer) Smith; daughter, Tiffaney (Corey) Campbell; grandchildren, Kody (Darby), Kyle, Jaden, Kamden, Kinsey, Landon, Tylah, Tydon; great grandsons, Maverick and Taydrean; siblings, Wanda (Ken) Smith, Aletha Fiser, Larry (Blanche) Smith; several uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; multiple friends; and his dog, Bella Girl.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Clarence’s final resting place will be on his family’s farm in Tennessee where services will be held at a later date.
