last 36 years of her life.

his wife Laurie, her six beloved grandchildren, Brian Sacks, Kristen
Amalfe, Erica O’Hara, Robert Foley, Ann Birzin and Christopher Foley

Anne had a zest for life, which included her love for opera along with a
passion for cooking. She was an avid reader, which included her
beloved New York Times and enjoyed decorating and collecting
antiques. She appreciated beauty in any form whether it be her
beloved antique plate collections, setting a beautiful tea table for
family gatherings or her interest in beautiful antique furniture and
accessories. She sought the beauty in nature and loved and enjoyed
her flowers that she planted every year in her pots. Anne also loved
playing Bridge in her younger days. Above all, Anne was devoted to her
family, who was her purpose in every aspect of her life. Throughout
her life, family gatherings were constant affairs – whatever the
occasion, and she relished in making those gatherings as elegant, fun
and inviting as possible.
A private family gathering will be held on September 23, 2022.
