<p>John Page Cashin III of Bainbridge Island, WA</p><p>September 19, 1948 – September 14, 2022</p><p><br></p><p>John Page Cashin III, longtime resident of Bainbridge Island, passed away at home. He was born in&nbsp;Seattle and spent his childhood on Mercer Island, graduating from Mercer Island High School in 1966.&nbsp;He was an Eagle Scout and active skier, becoming a certified ski instructor for Northwest Ski School. He served in the Army National Guard and was a longtime Mariners fan and season ticket&nbsp;holder. He retired from a career at Frank Potter &amp; Associates printing company.</p><p><br></p><p>John was a passionate reader and book collector and enjoyed puns, his Candy Apple Red '66 Mustang, nature, and spending time with his family and friends.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by Carrol Lee, his wife of 19 years.&nbsp;He is survived by; siblings Lorayne Hendrickson, Woodinville WA, Fred and Michele Cashin,&nbsp;Redmond WA, Rod Cashin and Debbie Mueller, Sedona AZ, niece&nbsp;Alycia Page Francis, Bellingham&nbsp;WA and nephew John Laurin Cashin of Champaign IL, and his extended family of children and&nbsp;grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>A&nbsp; Remembrance Gathering for John will be held on October 8,2022 from 1:00- 3:30pm at Island Center Hall located at&nbsp;8395 Fletcher Bay Rd,&nbsp;Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook Family Funeral Home of Bainbridge Island.</p>

So sorry to hear this news. Although it has been a long time since I’ve seen John there were some special times I enjoyed with him. Childhood get togethers as neighbors, a ski trip to Sun Valley, times with Jon Spearman & him. He had a life well lived.
