John Page Cashin III of Bainbridge Island, WA

September 19, 1948 – September 14, 2022


John Page Cashin III, longtime resident of Bainbridge Island, passed away at home. He was born in Seattle and spent his childhood on Mercer Island, graduating from Mercer Island High School in 1966. He was an Eagle Scout and active skier, becoming a certified ski instructor for Northwest Ski School. He served in the Army National Guard and was a longtime Mariners fan and season ticket holder. He retired from a career at Frank Potter & Associates printing company.


John was a passionate reader and book collector and enjoyed puns, his Candy Apple Red '66 Mustang, nature, and spending time with his family and friends. 


He was preceded in death by Carrol Lee, his wife of 19 years. He is survived by; siblings Lorayne Hendrickson, Woodinville WA, Fred and Michele Cashin, Redmond WA, Rod Cashin and Debbie Mueller, Sedona AZ, niece Alycia Page Francis, Bellingham WA and nephew John Laurin Cashin of Champaign IL, and his extended family of children and grandchildren.


A  Remembrance Gathering for John will be held on October 8,2022 from 1:00- 3:30pm at Island Center Hall located at 8395 Fletcher Bay Rd, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110.
