<p>Age 59, of Elliott, a man who cared and partied with everyone he met, Joey Hanis, left our world on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Beloved son of the late Raymond and Violet (Macino) Hanis. Loving brother of Ray “Buddy” (Terry), Carol (Joe) Serventi, Robert, Betty (Jim) D’Amico, and Darlene Hanis. Joe will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends. Joe worked at CLASS (Community Services and Support Service) for over 20 years. He also tossed many pizzas at the Village Tavern and Hunter Blues and left behind clouds of flour when hugging all the customers that had the pleasure of knowing him. Anyone who knew Joe, knew he proudly wore his mullet and he vowed to die with it. His words remained true… Friends received from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at ANTHONY G. STAAB FUNERAL HOME INC., 900 Chartiers Ave., Pgh, PA 15220. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Raphael the Archangel Parish—St. Margaret of Scotland Church,&nbsp;310 Mansfield Ave., Pgh, PA 15220. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, Joe’s family suggests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org or at any Tavern Joe supported. </p>
