Edwina (Okoniewski) Harvilchuck, 78, went home to our Lord September 12th, 2022 having passed peacefully in her sleep. Born in 1944 to the late Edward J. and Michaeline (Zbrzezniak) Okoniewski of Johnson City, Ny., she was predeceased by her loving husband of 40 years, James A. Harvilchuck, in 2007. She is survived by three devoted children, Valerie, Laurence (Katherine), and Alexander (Halina); and her grandchildren Charlotte, Edward, Matthew, Rachel, and Victoria Harvilchuck, all of Brackney. She is also survived by a brother, Rick (Elizabeth) Chiavarini, Indianapolis, In.; two cousins, Bernadette Brown of Owego, Ny. and Richard Sileo of Lockport, Ny.; many nieces and nephews, and the good friends from over the years with whom she enjoyed regularly keeping in touch, including Marilyn Laufer, Patricia McVay, Grace Frenzel, and her classmates from the Owego Free Academy Class of 1962.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Food Pantry, 7070 Laurel Lake Road, Brackney, Pa. 18812. Grant eternal rest unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of the faithfully departed at the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
