Mr. Alton Revels of Goldsboro was born on December 3, 1947 in Robeson County to the late James Mack Revels and Ruby Mae Revels and departed this life on September 10, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital completing his journey of 74 years.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers: V.D. Revels, Rudolph Revels, Mack Revels, Robert Eugene Revels, James Mack Revels, and Martin Revels.

Mr. Revels leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings: Annie Ruth Jacobs of Lumberton, Wanda Dell Revels of Rowland, and James Ronald Revels of High Point; a special niece: Lisa Revels of Lumberton as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 1-3 P.M .at Boles Funeral Home in Rowland. The funeral will begin immediately following the visitation at 3 P.M. with the Revs: Johnny Locklear & Hedrick Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
