Marsha Lyneette Hewitt, 58, passed away unexpectedly Monday September 5, 2022. She was born May 3, 1964, to Betty Anthony Hewitt and the late Lance Hewitt Sr.

She was a graduate of Hickory High School Class of 1982 and was employed at Home Health Care.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her children Shari Hewitt of Hickory, Julian Hewitt, Kellie Hewitt, and Christian Hewitt all of Newton; her other Betty Anthony Hewitt of Hickory; her siblings Darryl (Gina) Hewitt, Lance Monroe Hewitt II, and Georg Hewitt all of Hickory, Kelly (Derek) Hewitt of Maryland, Jenna (Jodi) Hewitt of Pennsylvania, and Linda (Charles) Dowd of Hampton, Ga.; seven grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 2:00 pm. at Morningstar First Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Roberts II, officiating. Burial will follow at Southside Cemetery. The family will receive friends fro 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
