<p>Francesco “Frank” D’Antuono, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Frank resided in Plainfield, South Plainfield and Hillsborough.</p><p><br></p><p>Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his two boys, who were the world to him - Nicholas and Johnathan.</p><p><br></p><p>He was proud of his Italian heritage and for those who knew him, music in particular; The Grateful Dead was his passion. He loved attending live concerts, his toes in the sand as well other outdoor activities.</p><p><br></p><p>Hi goal in life was to be content and to go to bed with a smile on his face. The beach, his friends, family and his music helped him find his “happy place.” He was finally content at his home at the shore. He was at his happiest.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his two sons who will fondly miss him, Frank will also be deeply missed by his parents, Francesca and Aniello D’Antuono of Somerset; sister, Antonietta Estadt of PA.; nieces, Angelina and Gabriella Estadt; nephew, Brooks Estadt and his former wife, Melinda Lanzet D’Antuono of Hillsborough. Frank will also be missed by his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, beginning at 9:30am in the McCriskin – Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by an 11:30am funeral mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.</p><p><br></p><p>Entombment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield.</p><p><br></p><p>In Lieu of flower please consider making a donation in Frank’s memory to further benefit Clean Ocean Action: Be the Solution to Ocean Pollution Clean Ocean Action: Be the Solution to Ocean Pollution</p>
