<p>Emily Jean (Hensold) Hull</p><p>June 4, 1927 - September 4, 2022</p><p><br></p><p>Jean, 95, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be a Celebration of Life service on Friday, September 9 at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Bend, 230 NE 9th St., Bend.</p><p><br></p><p>Jean was born in Joliet, Illinois. She graduated from Danville High School, Illinois in 1945 and graduated from University of Illinois in 1949.</p><p><br></p><p>She was married January 29, 1950, to Harold Hull for 61 years.</p><p><br></p><p>She taught school for many years in the Springfield Illinois School District. After working on her Master of Library Science degree, she found her passion as an elementary school librarian.</p><p><br></p><p>After retirement, she and Harold moved to Bend, Oregon in 1991.</p><p><br></p><p>They were very active in both the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, Illinois and First Presbyterian Church of Bend.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her children: Bill &amp; Cindy Hull of Bend, Oregon, Bob &amp; Gay Hull of Florence, Oregon, Beth &amp; Tom Chamberlain of Danville, Illinois, and Mollie O’Brien of The Villages, Florida; four grandchildren: Kelsey &amp; Mitchell Biss of Bend, Ryan &amp; Monica Fatica of Visalia, California, Matt Chamberlain and Megan Chamberlain of Columbus, Ohio; six great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband Harold and brothers Harold and Bill Hensold.</p><p><br></p><p>She was known for her great sense of humor and positive attitude. She always had time to talk to anyone and was welcoming to everyone. Loved to be active outdoors. As she told everyone, she counted her blessings every day.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Bend, 230 NE 9th St, Bend, OR 97701, or to the Deschutes Public Library Foundation, PO Box 963, Bend OR 97709 (www.dplfoundation.org), or please plant a tree in your community in memory of Jean.</p><p><br></p>
