WILLIAM A. HASS, 92 of Springtown, TX, formerly of Menominee, MI passed away on Friday September 2, 2022 at Bridgeport Medical Lodge in Bridgeport, TX. Bill was born on December 3, 1929 in Marinette, WI to John and Elsie (Reek) Hass. He proudly served his Country in the United State Air Force from August 28, 1951 until being honorably discharged on August 27, 1955. On October 19, 1963, Bill married the former Judy Kent in Detroit, MI. Bill worked for the City of Menominee Water Treatment Plant for 35 years. He was a member of Resurrection Parish, American Legion Post 146, Teamster Union and Master Gardeners. Bill enjoyed gardening, traveling and doing stained glass.

Survivors include his children: Laurie (Gene) Tilley and Bruce Hass; 3 grandchildren: Krystal (Nick) Hunka, Andy Hass and Jeremiah Hass; and 4 great grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents: John and Elsie; wife: Judy; granddaughter: Tiffany Tilley; sisters: Florence Linczeski, Helen Powell, Henrietta Ondercin, Ida Dalsanto, and Marie Pesmark; brothers: Lawrence, John, Ray, Martin and Albert; in laws: Roy and Isabella Kent; and brothers in law: Neal Kent and Roy (Barbara) Kent Jr.

Services will be held on Friday September 9, 2022 in Riverside Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Military 20 Year Club beginning at 1:00 pm. Committal service will follow Military Honors with Father Brian Gerber presiding. The Anderson Kell Funeral Home is assisting the Hass family with arrangements.
