<p>MARINA McKENNA (nee Parrott)</p><p>(November 14, 1937- September 5 2022)</p><p>It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, Marina McKenna, on Monday, September 5th, 2022, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her loving husband Leo James McKenna, parents Annie and Harry Parrott. Leaving to mourn are her loving children: Harry McKenna (Wanda) and Michelle Moores (Brad); grandchildren: Nicole, Samantha (Josh King), Michael, and Laura. Marina will be sadly missed by her sister Patricia Lester (Wade) and niece Kendra (John Walsh). Marina deeply loved the time she spent with her friends at bowling and Tops over the years and truly cherished her friendships. A sincere thank you to all her Lancaster Crescent neighbours for their friendship and always being there to lend a helping hand. Marina was a loving person who touched the hearts of everyone she met and will never be forgotten. Visitation at Barret’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, Thursday, September 8th from 1:00PM – 9:00PM. Funeral mass and a celebration of life to take place Friday, September 9th at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Parish, 110 Ashford Drive, Mount Pearl. Interment to follow at The Columbarium, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Flowers accepted or a donation can be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Mount Pearl.
