<p><strong>Robert A. Miller, 92, of Brick, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Ocean Medical Center. He was born in Newark and had lived in Union for many years, before settling in Brick in 1997. Robert had served honorably for the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a dedicated police officer in Union for 26 years. In Roberts spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and caring for his lawn. </strong></p><p><strong>He is predeceased by his son, Donald C. Miller. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Helene Miller of Brick; son, Robert Paul Miller and his wife, Dianna of Sparta; daughter, Helene Kelly of Belford; grandchildren, R.J. Miller, Dani’Elle Miller, and Brianna Kelly; and great grandchildren, Gianna Joy and Maverick Joseph. </strong></p><p><strong>A funeral service for Robert will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, NJ 08724 on Thursday, September 1st, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.
