Robbin Leah Murray Redmond, Oregon Obituary

Robbin Leah Murray

Robbin Leah Murray was released to fly with the angels on August 6th, after a heartbreaking 4-year battle with Dementia. Robbin was a resident of Juniper Springs Memory Care in Redmond, Oregon. Family was everything to Robbin. She leaves behind 3 children, Eric Johnson of Woodward, Oklahoma, Tom Johnson of Redmond, Oregon, and Melanie Mangin of La Pine, Oregon. Robbin was a proud Grandma to 10 and Great-Grandma to 18. Robbin will be missed by her brother John Campbell and sisters Debbie Buck and Carol Sorenson, along with her many nieces and nephews. Robbin was born March 4th, 1942 in San Francisco, California. She was married to Mel Johnson from October of 1959 to 1978. Robbin especially loved her years living in Japan where Mel served in the Air Force. Her favorite stories to tell always centered around her years as a young mother raising 3 children just 3 years apart. After spending many years working in retail, Robbin retired in 2003 from Eagle Crest resort as the events coordinator. A job she truly loved! Robbin was an active member of the Soroptimist Club of Redmond for many years. Robbin loved to entertain and could pull a party together on a moment’s notice. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Robbin was cremated by Autumn Funerals, Redmond and a memorial will be held next June.
