Thomas Grant Kough, age 80, of North Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully at Embrace Hospice House on August 15, 2022, in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Born September 6, 1941, in Bradford, PA, he was the son of the late Grant and Hazel Kough.  He had resided in Buffalo, NY where he owned an insurance agency and extensive real estate. Thomas retired to the North Myrtle Beach area with his wife, Barbara. During his retirement, he became a published author of “Who You Callin Slumlord?” and he cherished the company of numerous friends.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Smist; son, Mark T. Kough; granddaughter, Victoria E. Kough; sister in law, Ann Smist Passen and husband Richard; brother in law, Paul Smist and partner Dr. Barbara MacFarlane and nieces and nephews.
