Dakota Elaine Coleman, age 18, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, in Cadiz. Born September 26, 2003, she was the daughter of Carl Coleman and Tabitha Blick. She was a 2022 graduate of Trigg County High School and worked as a sales associate at MaxFuel in Cadiz. Dakota was a happy girl with an outgoing personality. She loved hanging out with her friends, talking, and had a soft spot for animals, especially puppies. She enjoyed painting, doing her hair, nails and makeup, and practicing her skills at tattoo artistry. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sharon Lancaster Ginn; and her step-mother, Alexa Coleman. She is survived by her father, Carl Coleman of Cadiz; her mother and step-father, Tabitha and Kody Blick of Cadiz; brothers, Garrett McDaniel, Travis Douglas, and Cordell Douglas, all of Cadiz; sisters, Shyloh Flanagan and Isley Coleman, both of Cadiz; maternal grandfather, Tim Phillips of Cadiz; maternal grandmother, Becky Phillips of Cadiz; paternal grandparents, Allen and Angie Coleman of Cerulean; great grandmothers, Frances Lancaster of Cerulean and Willie Lee Grace of Hopkinsville, Ky.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation only will be held Friday, August 19, 2022, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
