<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp; BASILE~ Mom, Grandma, Sister and friend, Beatrice Ann Langley passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette at the age of 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Burial will follow in the Langley Cemetery with Father Keenan Brown, Celebrant.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Beatrice was born in Elton on March 24, 1937 to Shelton Henry and Mattie Fuselier Pickett. She was known to many as &ldquo;Miss Bea&rdquo; and she was the owner of Miss Bea&rsquo;s Caf&eacute; in Basile. She was a devoted catholic and belonged to the Prayers and Patches and loved working in her yard. Miss Bea was a loving and dedicated mother. She treasured her children and loved every moment spent with them. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her four children, Roger Lee Langley and wife, Barbara, Jackie LaFleur and husband, Kenneth and Janet Lynn Langley all of Basile and Karl Langley and wife, Marilyn of Iowa; brother, Jerry Pickett of Texas; sisters, Addie Milligan of Bunkie and Anna-Lee LaBauve. She loved playing with her thirteen grandchildren, twenty- seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. We will miss her every day.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Curtis Langley; her parents and twelve siblings.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;"><span style="font-size:16px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin&rsquo;s Funeral Home in Basile on Thursday, August 18th from 9:00 am until time of services.      BASILE~ Mom, Grandma, Sister and friend, Beatrice Ann Langley passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette at the age of 85.      Beatrice was born in Elton on March 24, 1937 to Shelton Henry and Mattie Fuselier Pickett. She was known to many as “Miss Bea” and she was the owner of Miss Bea’s Café in Basile.
