Janet Claire (Stevenson) Gouveia, 81, of Pocasset, formerly of West Bridgewater passed away Sunday August 14, 2022 at Falmouth Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Noe F. Gouveia. Born June 5, 1941 in Winthrop, MA she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Claire M. (Neal) Stevenson. Mrs. Gouveia was raised and educated in Randolph. She retired as office manager after more than twenty years from the A.L. Cushman Insurance Agency, in Brockton. In addition to her husband, Noe she is survived by their children, Michael Bustard and wife Christine of Bridgewater, Wendy Bustard of West Bridgewater, Kimberly English and husband Robert, Jr. also of West Bridgewater, Doreen Foley and husband Daniel of Florida, Noah Gouveia and wife Lynn of Connecticut, Suzanne Mace and husband Charles of Florida and Christopher Gouveia and wife Stephanie of New Hampshire; 16 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren; her brothers, Thomas Stevenson and wife Leslie of Maryland and Robert Stevenson and wife Nancy of Cape Cod. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 So. Main St.(Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Friday, August 19th at 9:00AM thence to St. Ann Church 103 N. Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
