On August 10, 2022, Marilyn J. Molloy, affectionally known as Mimi, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Mimi was born on September 27, 1932 in Georgetown, Massachusetts to John J. Molloy, Sr. and Elsie Grace (Huntress) Molloy. While growing up in Georgetown, Mimi worked on the family turkey farm. She graduated from Georgetown High School and later married William A. Fowler, Jr. and raised six children.
Mimi was proud of her Irish heritage and loved to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Mimi was a fantastic singer and loved to sing Irish ballads, her favorite being “Danny Boy”. Mimi held various jobs over the years including as a licensed cosmetologist, police dispatcher, and private investigator.
Mimi is survived by her children, William and his wife, Jodi; Danny and his wife, Jennifer; Aaron and his wife, Kelley; Lyn-Mari and her fiancée Allen; and Elsie and her husband, Ron. She is also survived by grandchildren, Eric, Adam, Matthew, Dillon, Scott, Brandon, Erica, Benjamin, Crystal, Heather, Kala, Courtney, and Kodie, as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Garry, as well as her parents and siblings, Dorothea, Phyllis, John, Kathryn.
