<p>Marion&nbsp;Musacchio<br /> December 29, 1930 - August 11, 2022</p> <p>Marion Musacchio, 91, passed away on August 11, 2022, in Michigan City, Indiana. She was born on December 29, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Angela (Tocci) Musacchio of Falconara Albanese, Italy, who preceded her in death.&nbsp;<br /> Marion graduated from Fenger High School and built a career as an executive secretary. She loved working in the Chicago Loop at Western Oil and eventually retired after 28 years with Marsh McLennan Insurance. She loved traveling the United States, Europe, and Africa with her many friends, especially Carol Carpenter. She enjoyed word searches, movies, the Cubs, live theater, Chicago Lyric Opera, and riding the train to work with her friend and co-worker, Emily Zemaitis. She was always the first to help when needed and remembering important family dates. She was a great Italian cook, and everyone enjoyed her wonderful fresh baked apple pies.<br /> She is survived by her sisters Rose (Hal) Higdon of Long Beach, Indiana and Beatrice Fabbricatore of Plymouth, Michigan. She is loved and greatly missed by her nephews, Andrew (Tammie) Musacchio, Kevin (Camille) Higdon, David (Sharon) Higdon, Louis (Kerri) Fabbricatore, Anthony (Jess) Fabbricatore, and her niece, Laura (Pete) Higdon Sandall.&nbsp; She loved her grand nieces and nephews, Kyle and Wesley (Maddie) Higdon, and Holly (Andres) Osorio; Jacob and Sophie Higdon; Angela (Josh) Bartlett, Nicholas, David, and Daniel Sandall; Owen and Garett Fabbricatore; Nicolle Roman, Drew (Jessica) Musacchio and Emily (Henry) Best; along with her nine great grandnieces and grandnephews. Her brothers, Anthony, and Frank Musacchio, as well as sister-in-law Gilberte Musacchio and brother-in-law Louis Fabbricatore, preceded her in death.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Her family appreciated the wonderful help from her caregivers, Tracy Chavez and Teresa Eldridge as well as the Rittenhouse Village staff.<br /> Visitation hours will be Tuesday, August 16th at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM with a prayer service at 11:00 AM.&nbsp; A Memorial luncheon will be served in her honor following the service.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> A short burial service will occur at Evergreen Cemetery, Cedar Hill Section, 3401 W. 87th Street, Evergreen Park, IL 60805 on Wednesday, August 17th at 10:00 AM.&nbsp;<br /> In lieu of flowers, Marion requested contributions or memorials be made to the Blind Service Association, 17 North State Street, Suite 1050, Chicago, IL 60602 or a charity of your choice.</p>

Marion Musacchio, 91, passed away on August 11, 2022, in Michigan City, Indiana. She was born on December 29, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Angela (Tocci) Musacchio of Falconara Albanese, Italy, who preceded her in death.
