<p>Our sweet Angel has earned her wings and joined GOD and the open arms of her family waiting in heaven.</p> <p>Charlotte was born in Monterey, IN to Carl and Mildred Reinholt whom she will reunite with in heaven. She is the 2nd of 7 siblings; sisters Peggy Overman, Janet Fout; brother Wayne &quot;Tub&quot; Reinholt and sister Glenda Roberts preceded her death, she is survived by her sister Joan Daugherty (Luther) of Lowell, IN and her brother Jim Reinholt (Audrey) of Warsaw, IN.</p> <p>Charlotte who was lovingly referred to as &quot;Chi&quot; and grew up on a farm in Monterey, IN. She, like her siblings, would help with the chores around the farm, tending to the animals, and helping in the home. She was hard working and a wonderful daughter and sister. She enjoyed cheerleading and basketball games during her childhood. She attended and graduated from Monterey High school in Monterey, IN class of 1950.</p> <p>Charlotte worked as a switch board operator at the United Telephone Company at the age of 18 in Knox, IN. Later in life she worked as Head of Purchasing for Sibley&#39;s Foundry in South Bend, IN for 35 years before she retired.</p> <p>Charlotte had 3 wonderful children; a daughter Beverly Huss, who preceded her in death, and her surviving sons Donald Salyer (Pati) of South Bend, IN and Douglas Salyer of Syracuse, IN who will carry on her legacy.</p> <p>Later in life she found the greatest love of her life, John Strom, whom she spent 32 wonderful years and will continue their love story in heaven. John showed her the world through their many travels in life. He was a wonderful father and a loving grandfather, &quot;Grandpa John&quot;, to her kids and grandkids. She loved him with all of her heart. They were truly soulmates.</p> <p>Charlotte took pride and worked hard to raise her kids. Later in life she would also raise many of her grandchildren to whom she was more of a mother...the GRANDEST MOTHER EVER! She instilled great values into all of her children and her grandchildren, while always encouraging them to be their best. Her greatest encouragement was, &quot;You can do anything you put your mind to.&quot; She loved each and every one of her children, grandchildren, and family with her whole heart, and without judgement. She was one of the kindest souls to ever walk this earth, truly an Angel. She was and will always be the beacon of hope and shining light for her family as she watches over them from heaven.</p> <p>Charlotte is also survived by her grandchildren Kim &amp; James Butrick of Cassopolis, MI, Thomas R Osmer Jr of Osceola, IN, Jennifer Osmer of Dowagiac, MI, Ashley &amp; Randy Murray of Niles, MI, Brooke &amp; Justin Swartz of Edwardsburg, MI, &amp; Luke Salyer of South Bend, IN. Her great-grandkids JD, Tyler, Amber, Kyle, Kaden, Christopher, Josh, Abby, Brooklyn, Christian, Abel, &amp; Kasen, 9 great-great-grandkids and her greatest companion of all, her dog Scrappy Doo Salyer.</p>

Charlotte was born in Monterey, IN to Carl and Mildred Reinholt whom she will reunite with in heaven. She is the 2nd of 7 siblings; sisters Peggy Overman, Janet Fout; brother Wayne "Tub" Reinholt and sister Glenda Roberts preceded her death, she is survived by her sister Joan Daugherty (Luther) of Lowell, IN and her brother Jim Reinholt (Audrey) of Warsaw, IN.

Charlotte who was lovingly referred to as "Chi" and grew up on a farm in Monterey, IN.
