<p>Carmen Lydia Santos-Shannon, humbly bowed to God’s will and peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at her home in Lancaster, SC. A daughter of the late Luz Figuroa Alvarez and the late, Enrique Alvarez was born on July 8, 1961 in Reading, Pennsylvania.</p> <p> </p> <p>She was married to Martin Lamont Shannon.</p> <p> </p> <p>Carmen embraced life and loved the Lord. She graduated from Reading High School in Pennsylvania. Family was important to her and she enjoyed cooking large meals for them and sharing with other family members and friends.</p> <p> </p> <p> Left to cherish fond memories are her husband of Lancaster, SC, two daughters, Latasha Santos (Jerome Fiers) of Reading, PA, Brittany Shannon of Lancaster, SC, three sons, Jose A.
