Bradley "Brad" W. Anderson Obituary

Bradley “Brad” W. Anderson, 42, Kokomo, passed away at 2:02 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, surrounded by his family.  He was born on June 16, 1980, to Joseph F. and Janet M. (Ewing) Anderson. 

Brad graduated from Kokomo High School in 1999.  He worked for Bona Vista Industries as a Laborer for 19 years. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.  He was a huge fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indiana Hoosiers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Chicago Bears.  Brad was a #1 fan in the bleachers to his niece and nephew, at their sporting events.

Brad is survived by his parents; brother, Jeremy (Natascha “Tosh”) Anderson; niece and nephew, Tyler Anderson, and Abby Anderson; aunts and uncles, Barbara (Steve) Miller, Sarah (Jerry) Spencer, Joe (Anita) Ewing, Patty (Norman) Schmitt, Steven (Sebrina) VanWinkle, and Paula (Tommy) Reardon, April VanWinkle; great aunt, Pat Davis; special close cousin, Tina (Patrick) Carter; countless other cousins; and special friends, Cliff and Deanna Grammar.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Jane Anderson, Margaret & Raymond VanWinkle, and Marianna Ewing; uncles, Jimmy VanWinkle and Michael VanWinkle; great aunt, Theresa Ewing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm on Monday, August 15, 2022, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1229 N. Washington St., Kokomo, with Rev. Fr. Elliot Zak the celebrant. Burial will take place in South Union Cemetery.  Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, where the Rosary will be offered at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with final expenses.
