Frank A. Holmes, 56, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2022 in New Castle.

Born in Grove City, PA on March 22, 1966, Frank was the son of the late Edward and Marilyn Hinds Holmes.

He leaves behind his loving wife of over thirty-one years, the former Lisa M. Cratty whom he married on May 25, 1991.

Frank worked as a roofer for United Union of Roofers and Allied Workers Local Number 37. He enjoyed working on cars. Frank cherished the times he spent with his family, especially his grandson and friends.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Nicholas (Sarah) Holmes, Lucas Holmes; his brothers, Edward Holmes, Dennis Holmes; his sisters, Tina (Richard) Dye, Stacy (Darrel) Ferguson, his grandson, Jace Frank Holmes and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother Kenneth Holmes.

Visitation is Monday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. followed by a service at 1:30pm.

In lieu in flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s honor and mailed to the Sons of Italy 905 S. Mill ST. New Castle, PA 16101.
