<p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, Garry Clark passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba at the age of 78 years.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Garry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret; daughters Mary-Anne (Rob), Jo-Anne (Brent); his greatest treasures &ndash; grandchildren Stephanie, Katie (Dennis), Owen and Rae-Anne; sister Sharon; sister-in-law Mary Rzepa; brother-in-law George Gordichuk; as well as many cousins. Garry will also be missed by many close and important friends. He was predeceased by his parents Lyall and Mary Clark.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Garry was born on November 28, 1943 in Winnipeg, MB. He grew up on the family farm in Baldur, MB at 15-4-14 &ndash; a place that he loved dearly.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">When he moved to Portage in 1961, he was handed the name and phone number of a 16-year-old Margaret Gordichuk. They were married May 30, 1964.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Garry worked for MPI for 22 years, and in later days spent another 25 at Portage Golf Course. He was a long-time season ticket holder for the Portage Terriers. You could find Garry in the stands at various amateur sporting events across Manitoba, cheering on his grandchildren in their various endeavors.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">A memorial service will be held at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm, led by Rev.
