Mrs. Shelley Francene Faulk Atwood, age 65, entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Alexandria at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital.

The visitation for Mrs. Atwood will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Ron Perry officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murrel Faulk and Frances McCall Faulk; and step-son, Johnathon Atwood.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Edward Atwood; son, Benjamin Jenkins; daughter, Bethany Jenkins Watt (Lyle); grandchildren, Michael Jenkins, Elizabeth Jenkins, Abigail, and Evelyn Watt; and a host of extended family and friends.

Mrs. Shelley Atwood was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a larger than life personality and would talk with anyone who would listen. She enjoyed reading, travelling, and working with patients with handicaps through the state. Mrs. Shelley will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
