Vetta Gene Reuzenaar - Davies

Vetta Reuzenaar- Davies, 96, of Lafayette passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at St. Mary’s Healthcare. Vetta was born December 30, 1925 in Montmorenci, IN, to the late Samuel and Wilda (Peters) Hickman. Her first marriage was to Bernard Reuzenaar, he preceded her in death on July 19, 1981. On July 3, 2004 she married George Davies in Lafayette. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2013. Vetta was a member of East Side Assembly of God where she was involved in many groups. She was very artistic and loved creating oil paintings, crafts, jewelry and macrame. Surviving are her children: Cynthia Kay (Wayne) Kesler of Lafayette; brother Donald (Marie) Hickman of Illinois; three grandchildren: Ken (Heather) Halsema, Tonya Schultz and Amber Kesler and seven great-grandchildren: Michael, Zachary and Gabriel Halsema, Levi and Noah Schultz and Emily Dunbar and Dylan Myers. Along with her husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Visitation will be held 10am – 11am Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Hippensteel Funeral Home.
