MACPHAIL, George – Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 at PRHC in his 93rd year.  Beloved husband of the late Norma Jean (nee Gordon).  Cherished father of Nancy Ryan (Ron) and Gord (Jana).  Papa will be sadly missed by Joseph Ryan, Elizabeth Glidden (Joni) and Michael Macphail and by great-grandchildren Fionn and Sawyer.  Dear brother of Doug Jr., Ian and the late Lena Powell.  Uncle George will be remembered fondly by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Douglas Sr. and Ellen (nee Kirkpatrick).  A private family interment will be held at Little Lake Cemetery.  Friends and relatives are invited to attend a casual reception at HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, Peterborough on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 from 12-2 PM.  Online condolences may be made by visiting www.highlandparkfuneralcentre.com.
