Norene Ebeling
<p>Norene (Norman) Schreck Ebeling, of West Palm Beach, FL, and formerly of Orange and West Haven, CT, charted her own course and stayed true to it all of her life. Living independently, shopping, driving, and engaging in numerous pursuits, she made the most of every one of her 94 years. She died on August 6, 2022, after a brief illness.</p> <p>Norene Norman was born in Waterbury, CT in 1928, a daughter of the late George and Agnes (Julio) Norman. She is survived by her son George C. Schreck of Portland, OR; brother George Norman of Middlebury, CT; sister Barbara Wihbey of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband of 27 years, George E. Schreck in 1977, and in 2017, by her second husband of 29 years, Charles W. Ebeling.</p> <p>Norene taught elementary school for many years in Milford, CT, and lived with her family in West Haven and Orange, CT, before moving to West Palm Beach, FL, more than 20 years ago.</p> <p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 16th, at 11 o’clock, in Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange, CT. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Interment will immediately follow in Saint Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.</p>Obituary
