Terance "Terry" Ian Pate Colorado Springs, Colorado Obituary

Terance "Terry" Ian Pate

Terry Pate died peacefully under hospice care on August 14, 217 after a two-year hard battle with cancer. Terry was born in Bury St Edmunds, England on December 6, 1957, of his parents James and Patricia Pate. He served in the Air Force and was stationed in Massachusetts, where he met and married Brenda Walker in 1979, and they had three children, James, Shannon, and Matthew. Terry was an accomplished guitar player and deeply loved music. He was also an avid reader and studied several religious belief systems, and loved his shelter pets, Gary and Millie. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; sons, James (Sara) and Matthew (Melissa); sisters, Melanie and Kim; his brother, Andy; his father, James; and eight beautiful grandchildren, Libby, Josh, Aiden, Jackson, Hunter, Landon, Blake, and Mackenzie. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Pate, and his daughter, Shannon Wooten. We will all miss him so much. A Private Memorial will be held by the family. Instead of flowers, a donation in Terry's memory to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (www.hsppr.org) would be most appreciated. Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” [Revelation 14:13] Funeral Home: The Springs Funeral Services 3115 East Platte Avenue Colorado Springs, , CO US 80909
