Mark Joseph Hazlett, 51, died on January 14, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on January 24, 1965 in Tucson, Arizona to Joseph Kurtz and Carol Sue (Kistner) Hazlett. Mark was a HVAC technician and a longtime Colorado Springs resident. He was a fun-loving father, who giving and caring, almost to a fault. He had a big heart for the homeless community, and he took in many as often as he was able. Mark was always wherever help was needed. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Hazlett. Mark is survived by two sons, Anthony and Sean Hazlett; a daughter, Ashley Pederson (Joseph Reyes); his father, Joseph "Joe" Hazlett; a sister, Jodee Hazlett; and his three grandchildren, Trace Anthony Hazlett, and Izaiah and Ivan Reyes.
