CHESAPEAKE – James Michael Zimmerman, 49, of the 2900 block of East Point Rd. passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 in a local hospital. He was born on January 8, 1973 in Harrisburg, PA to Karen E. Gillikin and the late Richard L. Zimmerman. James was a mechanic at Victory Lanes Duckpin Bowling Alley in Portsmouth. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Brian D. Zimmerman; step brother, Dennis Gillikin; four aunts, Josie Zimmerman and Rose Zimmerman of Pennsylvania and Debbie Weaser and Pat Weaser of Virginia; an uncle, Tom Zimmerman of Pennsylvania; and numerous cousins.
