Logan Jude Swearingen, age 6, passed on to be with his Lord Jesus on Sunday, December 11, 2016. He valiantly endured Cystic Fibrosis and battled Neuroblastoma Cancer for 2 ½ years. Born on April 26, 2010, on Fort Lewis, Washington, he moved around the country with his family, following the Army's orders. He was currently attending 1st Grade at Pinello Elementary School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Logan is survived by his father, Landon Swearingen; his mother, Stephanie Swearingen; his sister, Genevieve Swearingen; his grandparents Chris Swearingen, Kimberly Swearingen, George Hubbs, and Susanne Hubbs; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Discovery Christian Church, 4304 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80918. Relatives and friends are welcome at the service and the reception at Discovery Christian Church. Logan and his family will be in superhero attire to honor Logan. Feel free to join us in themed attire, or come as you are. Open casket viewing will be available after the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that new, unwrapped toys be brought to the service to be donated to Children's Hospital Colorado.
