Pedro J. Cantu Obituary
Pedro J. Cantu, 80, of Waco, TX, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022. Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m., Monday, August 15, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14, at the funeral home with a rosary beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Pedro was born June 30, 1942, in Cedar Creek, TX, to Margarito Cantu and Manuela Jaramillo, with his twin brother Paul. He worked as a painter most of his life. Being active and healthy was important to him and he took pride in taking care of himself, especially when he was younger. Pedro was a kind and generous man who always helped others. He loved his family very much and he enjoyed spending with them as much as he could.
Pedro was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers.
He is survived by his children, Mike Cantu and wife Isabell, Patsy Cantu, and Victor Burgos; six sisters, all of Austin, TX; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family members.
