Dea. Cheeves passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.</em></span></span></p> <p><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Memorial services were held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 11:00AM from the Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Sandersville, GA.</span></font></em></p> <p><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">**Due to COVID 19, the family will NOT be accepting guests at the home at this time. They ask that you please keep them in your prayers**</span></font></em></p> <p><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Darryl Cheeves departed this life on Tuesday morning August 9, 2022, where he went peacefully in his sleep.</span></font></em></p> <p><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">He was born January 30, 1951, to the parentage of Ernestine Cheeves and Rufus Hall. He was preceded in death by them as well as his brother Reginald </span><span style="font-size: 20px;">Cheeves; grandparents; Aunt Bee; Aunt Town and Aunt Jean. </span></font></em></p> <p><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Darryl was affectionately known for his </span><span style="font-size: 20px;">Godly spirit. He joined the Poplar </span><span style="font-size: 20px;">Springs Missionary Baptist Church, </span><span style="font-size: 20px;">where he later joined the Deacon </span></font></em><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Ministry. He had a very kind and soft- spoken air that gained the love of </span></font></em><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">everyone he came in contact with.</span></font></em></p> <p><em style=""><font face="times new roman, times, serif"><span style="font-size: 20px;">Darryl will be forever loved and cherished by his son, Darryl Cheeves, Jr.; brother, Michael (Catherine) Cheeves; sisters, Angelia (Dennis) Hawkins, Connie (Thomas) Whitfield, Kaye Wiggins, Cheri Wiggins and Tamee (Calvin) Roberson; a special friend, Claudia Hardens; nieces, nephews; a host of relatives and friends.
