Ms. Elaine Baker Myers was born November 16th, 1956 to Beatrice Swinney Baker and Edward Baker.
She departed her earthly home on August 9th, 2022.

She attended the public school of Dillon County in Latta, South Carolina. She was formerly employed by
First Bank in Latta, SC for many years, Dillon County Treasurer office for many years, and ended her
work life at City of Savannah recorders office for almost 16 years.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. James Apostolic which was later changed to
Berean COGIC. She was an active and faithful member for many years then moved to Savannah, GA
were she became an active member of Fellowship of Love COGIC. She was a mother, grandmother,
great grandmother, listener, prayer warrior, believer, and GODLY woman. Elaine will always be
remembered as a sweet, loving person and was that way to everyone she met. She especially enjoyed
spending time with her children, grands, and great grands children. Our lives have been blessed having
known her.

She was preceded in death by Edward Baker (father), Beatrice S. Baker (mother), and Donald Baker
(brother).

Left to cherish her love includes her children Tanya Henley Cole, Calandra M. Myers, Brandon L. Myers,
and (bonus son) David M. Israel. Her siblings Viola (Leo) Johnson, Carolyn (Eddie) Jones, Levern
(Rebekah) Baker, Alton (Jenell) Baker, Linda (St. Elmore) Williams, Vermell Baker, Brenda McCallum,
James Baker, Evelyn Baker, and Rosalind Baker; grands & great grands Teria’na F. Jackson (Genesis),
Tanijha L. Jackson (Laniyah & Legend), Keith M. Cole; a special companion Ellis Hamilton, and a host of
cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.


The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2022 and Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Berean Church of Christ, 818 Allentown Drive, Latta, SC 29565.
